Our 30mm grey fleck EPDM gym flooring tiles are a popular in-stock option within our commercial flooring range, ideal for commercial gyms, PT studios, school gyms, strength facilities and premium home gyms.
 
Made from high-density SBR rubber with an EPDM laminated finish, these 1m x 1m gym floor tiles are built to handle heavy use whilst offering a cleaner, more premium look than standard black rubber flooring. How many gym floor tiles do I need?
 
To calculate how many gym floor tiles you need, measure the length and width of your space in metres and multiply them together to get the total square metre area.
 
We usually recommend ordering:
5% extra for straightforward rectangular spaces
10% extra for rooms with more cuts or awkward layouts

Installation and preparation advice
 
Before installation, make sure the floor is clean, level and dry. These tiles are heavy, at approximately 24kg each, so many customers choose to lay them loose, especially when fitting a full room, as movement is usually minimal.
 
Some commercial customers may prefer to use adhesive depending on site requirements or health and safety procedures. If needed, a suitable general adhesive can be purchased from most DIY stores.
If tiles need trimming to fit the space, this can be done using a strong retractable knife, but please take care and follow appropriate safety precautions.
