Project Overview

What used to be a traditional boxing gym has now been completely transformed into Maidenhead’s first female-only fitness space. Taken over by new owners Erdal and his wife, this fresh start is part of the growing FBL franchise, who we've worked with before on other successful projects. The goal this time was to create a space where women can train, feel confident, and build community. To help bring that vision to life, we teamed up with our sister brand, Freyja Fitness, to add a splash of colour and personality to the gym with a range of vibrant, high-quality kit.

Our Role

​We were brought in to take care of the full gym fit-out, flooring, cardio, strength, storage, studio equipment, you name it. The 142sqm space was a great blank canvas, especially for group training sessions. We worked closely with the owners to make sure every part of the space was thought through and ready for action. From delivery to install, we handled it all.

Looking Forward

The gym’s set to officially open in early June, and we’ve got a good feeling about it. As Maidenhead’s first gym dedicated entirely to women, it already stands out, and with such a passionate team behind it, there’s a real opportunity to build something special. We’re proud to have played a part in getting this space ready, and can’t wait to see it grow into a buzzing hub for the local community.

 

How Recharge Helped

We supplied and installed a full range of gym equipment, including:

  • 10m x 2m Green Sled Track

  • 2 Half Human Air Bikes

  • 2 Half Human Ski Ergs

  • 1 Power Sled

  • 2 A-Frame Dumbbell Racks

  • 2 Battle Ropes with Anchors

  • Kettlebells (4kg–20kg) x 2 Sets

  • Slam Balls (5kg, 10kg, 15kg) x 2 Sets

  • 4 TRX Sets

  • Wall Balls (4kg, 6kg, 9kg) x 2 Sets
