Recharge Fitness is a UK gym equipment supplier and commercial fit-out specialist — and it was built out of frustration. Before founding the company in 2020, I was developing luxury residential properties and needed to source quality gym equipment — the kind of fit-out that matched the standard of the homes I was creating. What I found was an industry full of suppliers who were difficult to deal with, slow to respond, and more interested in shifting stock than understanding what I actually needed. The gap was obvious: there was no gym equipment brand doing things the right way. So I decided to build one.

Six years on, Recharge Fitness has become one of the UK's most trusted gym equipment suppliers and commercial fit-out specialists. Based in Bristol, we work with clients right across the country — from independent gym owners and CrossFit boxes to Hyrox facilities, personal trainers setting up their first studio, and home gym enthusiasts who want something built to last. Our product range covers everything from rubber flooring (EPDM and SBR), dumbbells and barbells, functional rigs, and sled tracks, through to bespoke branded kit and full commercial fit-outs.

Over the years, the client list has grown in ways that still feel meaningful. We've supplied kit to England footballers and Premiership clubs, male and female England rugby players, and major commercial operators including David Lloyd. We've been part of retail activations at Selfridges and John Lewis. None of that happened by accident — it's the result of building products and a service that people in serious training environments are happy to put their name to.

Turnover has more than doubled in recent years, and we've built a supply chain that lets us offer genuinely high-quality products at competitive prices — without cutting corners on either. The team has grown to eight people, and we've worked hard to build a culture that reflects the same standards we hold ourselves to with every order.

That track record has been recognised. We've been named Gym Retailer of the Year, Gym Equipment Provider of the Year, and Prestige Gym Equipment Brand of the Year — twice. We're not in the habit of leading with trophies, but it matters to us that people in this industry have independently acknowledged what we're doing. It reflects the standards we hold ourselves to on every single order, from a single set of dumbbells to a full commercial installation.

The bigger picture is this: we want to help more gyms open, and we want those gyms to thrive. A healthier nation isn't built by lecturing people about exercise — it's built by making it easier for the people who create fitness spaces to do so with confidence. Every time we help a gym owner get their floor right, or a PT finally fit out their studio the way they imagined it, that's the mission in action. We're just getting started.
