LCIP approached Recharge to design and equip a premium gym within their new office space in the City of London, a short walk from the Gherkin. Projects like this are right in our wheelhouse, creating spaces that encourage movement, consistency and performance within the working day.
Located in the basement of the building, the gym has been fitted with all the essentials needed for effective daily training while maintaining a refined, high end finish. Using commercial grade equipment throughout, the space balances performance and durability with a sleek, luxury aesthetic, giving LCIP’s team a gym that feels considered, professional and built to last.
The space was equipped with a well balanced mix of strength and functional training kit, including a functional trainer, half rack and Hercules bar, giving the team the flexibility to train across a wide range of movements. The gym features 30mm EPDM flooring throughout for durability, comfort and sound reduction, alongside crumb bumper plates, adjustable benches and a full dumbbell setup ranging from 2.5kg to 30kg with a 1.5m rack. A selection of kettlebells completes the space, ensuring the gym is versatile, efficient and suitable for both structured training and quick sessions before or after work.
This was a project we genuinely loved working on.
