These stylish black SBR gym tiles are built to last and are arguably the highest-value commercial or home market product out there. They are certainly the most cost-effective of all our flooring options.
 
We typically recommend a 20mm thick tile based on general gym use, it's not too thick as to break the bank nor take up too much space, equally they are thick enough to absorb impact and reduce noise. When you are looking for value, this is our general recommendation.
 
They are made from the popular SBR rubber with fine SBR granules used to finish this commercial-grade flooring. We use the best of materials to provide great long-lasting use and minimal wear.
 
Each tile is precision measured at 100cm x 100cm (a square meter), naturally gym tiles have small fluctuations which occur during the rubber cooling process, While many brands have a 2% tolerance on their tiles, we have a 1% tolerance acceptance level providing you with confidence in the quality of your gym floor tiles.  
 
PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY THRESHOLD OF 18 TILES. REFUNDS WILL NEED TO BE MADE IF YOU PURCHASE LESS THAN THIS QUANTITY. 
 
How many should you order?
 
We always recommend that you over-order slightly when it comes to fitting your gym. So measure the length in meters, and width in meters and then multiply to give you a sqm area. e.g. 7m x 6m = 42sqm. We recommend that you add an additional 5-10% to your order depending on the complexity of your space. This is a good rule of thumb to allow for any difficult cuts or tricky angles in your gym space.

Preparation/advice
 
Ensure your floor is level, and give it a good clean prior to installation, if you do clean it, make sure it is dry before you start laying the tiles. You can purchase general adhesive from most DIY stores (or of course Amazon), but many customers prefer to lay these tiles loose. As a quality product, they are fairly heavy and movement if the whole room is laid will be minimal. If you need to cut your tiles to size, this can be done using a strong retractable knife, however, please proceed with caution. At 20mm it will require some force but is feasible with a good Stanley knife. When you cut, we'd recommend a spirit level/other appliance to ensure the cut is straight and your hands are protected.
 
Whilst not essential, we'd recommend cleaning the tiles once installed, ideally with a degreasing solution.
