Couples Training

Harmonious Yoga Positions

Participating in yoga sessions as a couple provides a special chance to enhance both physical and emotional connections. This practice not only improves individual flexibility and strength but also encourages communication, trust, and intimacy between partners hearts 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

  • Candle Pose

  • Double Downward Dog Pose

  • Partner Tree Pose

  • Double Warrior Pose II

  • Seated Forward Fold

This can be a very fun yet tranquil experience for partners, as either a challenge-off or a motivational demonstration, for or against your other half. Aim for around 15-30 seconds per pose with aligned breathing throughout the movement, inhaling with expansions and exhaling during contractions. Try not to laugh at your other half 😉

Functional Kettlebell Movements

Performing kettlebell exercises together offers valuable time to improve both physical fitness and relationship dynamics. This type of utility training not only boosts health but also builds teamwork, communication, and motivation between couples 👩‍❤️‍👨

  • Goblet Squat

  • Clean & Press

  • One-Arm Swing

  • Side Lunge

  • Russian Twist

Circuit-style training works well with kettlebells, a rep range of 8-12 within 3 sets will be optimum for hypertrophy training with lighter weights whilst heavier sizes will be more suited to less reps and more sets, this can create a more cohesive training session for couples 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Strength Barbell Exercises

Training with barbells alongside your partner provides a unique chance to boost both physical fitness and relationship dynamics. Engaging in strength training together can enhance teamwork, accountability, and motivation, making the workout experience more enjoyable and effective barbell 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

  • Back Squat

  • Romanian Dead Lift (RDL)

  • Hip-Thrust

  • Bent-Over Row

  • Overhead Press

Break down upper and lower body exercises for alternating days and aim to complete each exercise for 5 reps over 5 sets with 2-3 minutes rest between sets, this gives your partner plenty of time to rest-up 😜
